Mia Ferrari has been unleashed!
She's a smart-talking, wise-ass, wannabe investigator. She's spunky, likes younger men, and despises cops. She works in the international world of hotels, and has a talent for sniffing out a mystery. She's tough, she's sexy, she's bitchy, she's and "older chick" at 48 yrs of age--and she's fabulous!
She's Mia Ferrari!
Her first adventure "Playing with the Bad Boys" is out now! Be sure not to miss it!
What readers are saying:
Watch out Janet Evanovich, there's a new 'girl' on the block! Admittedly, she is older than Stephanie Plum but this is a ballsy lady with credibility and determination. ~ Carol Wyer, Author
This is a wonderful fast paced, jaunty read. The dialogue was witty and sassy. I enjoyed Mia Ferrari's independent, determined, take no crap from anyone, attitude. She has an inquisitive mind and is a passionate amateur sleuth. She is relentless in her quest for the truth; a thorn in the side of the police who are trying to solve the case. ~ Gloria Antypowich, Romance Author
Thoroughly enjoyed 'Playing With the Bad Boys'. Really didn't want to put it down once I'd started. Believable main character and a good supporting cast.
~ Charles Jackson, Author
I fell in love with Mia. When is her next adventure? ~ Robert Helle, University of Iowa
Darling, what can I say? I just loooooooooooooooove Mia; her style, her attitude and her Ferrari! ~ John Leith, Managing Director, 2Discover
I really enjoyed Mia's character, as well as her supporting cast. At times this book made me laugh. Other times I'd find myself nodding in understanding. The
pace is quick, the mystery a bit of a whodunit that allows readers to figure things out along with Mia. ~ Darcia Helle, Mystery/Suspense Author

Genre -- General fiction: contemporary fiction
Partly inspired by real life events, this is a story of courage, the gift of friendship and unconditional love. The story involves three people whose lives cross for a short period of time and the profound effect which results from their interaction. Alex Dorian, freelance travel writer and victim of child abuse, arrives in Sydney in an attempt to exorcise the ghosts of her past. She shares a house with Steve and the disturbing Matthew, a homosexual couple. Alex finds herself inexplicably attracted to Matthew, and she must battle with her repressed sexuality and her fear of intimacy.
Matthew, extremely good looking and an inspiring actor/model, lives with Steve, who is dying of AIDS. Matthew has his own battle, that of dealing with the rejection of his socialite parents, and facing a future without his partner. Steve is the rock to which the troubled Matthew and Alex cling as they examine their lives and beliefs. Steve finally dies, but his legacy lives on in the strength which both Matthew and Alex find to face their own pain. Alex learns to love again, thanks to the gift of friendship from Matthew; and in turn, with Alex’s love and support, Matthew learns to forgive the past and move on to follow his dream.
This beautifully told story explores the true meaning of unconditional love--for both one's self and for others. Readers of "The Soul Bearers" will come away with a deeper understanding of human relationships and of what it means to truly love without condition.
Available in ebook format at Kindle, Smashwords, Barnes & Noble, Sony, Kobo, Apple iPad*, and Diesel.
